Our own Lynda Lewis is discussing estate planning! Lynda Lewis CISP and Heart of Birmingham member, is Vice President & Trust Officer for Argent Trust Company. Her firm is located in Homewood, Alabama and serves clients all over the southeast. She will guide us through planning your own retirement. What will it look like? How will you spend your time? What about estate planning? Consider planning for the distribution of assets through estate planning. How do you envision that? Wills and other documents become the basis for your plans. She talks trusts! They can be implemented for your healthcare and maintenance planning. Additionally she will describe the various tools available to the business owner for succession planning. She and her firm assists in creating your unique plan. They will administer the trust when necessary. Her premise is that you eliminate your own stress and relieve a lot of stress on your family by planning. It just makes sense! You make the decisions and help to avoid conflict for family members. So lets get to it! Plan and then enjoy a stress free life. Additionally, she will graciously answer any questions and is providing a list of all documents each of us need in our retirement tool kit. Our Big Hat Bruncheon! What a success!
Attendees of the Big Hat Event were treated to a fun filled morning. Casi Ferguson regaled us with her discussion of all the various hats that we as women wear each day. Comedienne Joy brought laughter and joy to the morning. We all wanted to jump on her party bus tour! Feedback from the event was positive and attendees will definitively be placing the date of our next event on their calendar.
